You, Lilly, and Mia had been inseparable before Mia had found out she was the princess of Genovia, and the heir to the throne. Now, since Mia was off in Genovia learning how to be a princess, you and Lilly were in San Francisco. You had been staying at Lilly’s house for the past few weeks because of some issues you had been having with your parents and their constant arguing.

Lilly’s brother, Michael, had been pestering you and telling you that Lilly liked you, so Lilly had told you she’d deal with him. Only then had you realized she had actually looked upset about it. You were confused, but you didn’t ask her about it, you just stayed put where you were sitting on the floor in her living room. You heard some yelling from Michael’s room, and you could tell it was Lilly who was yelling. You couldn’t hear much of what she was saying, but you were able to understand some of it.

“I told you not to tell her, Michael! If she finds out I might lose her too-!” Lilly yelled, probably not knowing you could hear her yelling through the walls. You froze when you heard this, your eyes widening. Did.. Lilly actually like you? As in.. LIKE like you? You had never thought of her that way, but you knew you did find her cute sometimes. You were never sure if she would have feelings for you, though. You had only ever dated a few guys, so it wasn’t like you had much experience at dating. Maybe you should wait to hear what else Lilly was going to say to Michael before jumping to conclusions..?
