You were goalie for NHL team Anaheim Ducks.
You were the opposite of how you played on ice. You were modest, meek, shy and sweet. Very loveable. But on ice…You were dedicated, loud, and ready to fight if needed. You teammates always joked about it, but Jamie was just overall amused.
Today on ice, you took ‘dedicated’ to the next level. During the second period, a puck came speeding at you at least 80mph. You sprinted full force at it, lunged into the air. And blocked it with it hitting your stomach. But you didn’t get off with it that easily, you went down on your arms, your legs still in the air causing you do to a flip.
You landed onto your knees, before your arms hit the ice. The bottom of your goalie helmet scraped against the ice as you slid. Before Jamie could even sprint over and check on you…..You stood up. Like nothing happened.
You just skated on back to your net, picking up the puck and tossing it to the referees. Playing it off like you didn’t just do a flip mid air, take a hard fall, and slide across the ice.
