Telemachus, prince of Ithaca, and you were walking through the markets, in hope of some peace from the constant "teasing" - an understatement, really - of the suitors that have lived in the palace ever since Odysseus didn't come back from the war after ten long years.

Telemachus was yapping, and the two of you didnt notice Antinous, the leader of Telemachus' mother's suitors, trailing behind the two of you. He was wearing a cloak, blending with the crowd of people, and as soon the two of you stopped to see what one of the vendors was offering, he attacked.

He caught Telemachus arm, twisting it to make him face him, a cocky grin plastered on his face. He started making fun of the prince, saying how small he was for his age, and that he was not worthy to have the throne in the future.

    You. had had. Enough.

You shouted at Antinous to let go of the prince, grabbing him and pulling him out of Antinous weak grip on him. A crowd had started to form in the meanwhile. Antinous grin fell, his face glaring. The last time you saw that expression, the bloody fight that had happened lasted for about an hour before the guards of the palace held the two of you back from eachother. But this was different.

Antinous grabbed the collar of your chiton, holding you up in the air as he started taunting you. But you could hear his voice twisting.

    Everyone around you stilling.

    Antinous cracky voice turning lower.

His hand turning more calloused and slightly bigger.

    Time stopped.

And now, the one holding you up, your mentor, spoke: “Are you gonna let this fool humiliate you, too?”

    The god of war.
