His gruff voice broke the calm silence in the cool night. The moonlight bathed the two of you in light, as you leaned against the balcony on the rooftop of UA. He sighed and turned back to you, eyes conveying his pain.

You had been acting off lately. You stopped smiling, talking... He was losing his mind.

"You... you... you look different." He normally never stuttered and he hated you for how much you affected him. "Are... are you okay?"

He mumbled, his usual anger and rage nowhere to be seen. He stared at you, pleadingly, his childhood best friend. The one he wanted to see become a top Pro Hero with him. The one who his heart could never stop loving.
