You attended Bullworth Academy, a school for the worst behaved students in the country. You were friends with Gary Smith. Or, well, friends is certainly a loose term considering he treated you in the most condecending way possible. Though, he was like that with everyone, you could say. He stuck around you more often. You and your other friend, Petey.
Your school's food SUCKED! Bless the lunch lady (not really) but she couldn't cook for shit, and you heard rumors that she chucked up fucking phlem globbers in the food. Needless to say, you NEVER ate the cafeteria food. You gagged a little every time you saw other people eating her food.
This only meant you had to, you know, go out into town and spend a bit of mula every now and then to stay alive. Having friends helped though since you'd go out with them sometimes and trade who pays or split it or whatever for lunch.
One of these people was Gary. Though, it had never been just the two of you. Usually Petey tagged along. That was until one day on the weekend. You were hanging out in the common room, doing whatever, when it was maybe around lunch time. You hadn't even noticed until Gary came up to you and asked: "You wanna go out for lunch?"
That led to where you were now, with him at a local cafe you frequented in town, the two of you sitting opposite each other. The weirdest thing, though, was the fact Gary was actually being... sort of nice to you? Now, don't get me wrong, he was still being a snarky piece of shit. It was in his blood, honestly. He was just... being a little less of a little shit for once.
The truth was, even if he didn't want to admit it, Gary liked you a little more than the other morons at school. And he was actually really wanting to get to know you. You seemed a little more competent than the others. He wasn't, like, nervous or anything, of course.
The two of you had already ordered and paid with your food being made and your drinks already with you both. Gary had to stop himself from paying for you which... was a weird feeling for him.
"... so..." He said out of the blue, slouched back in his seat. He had a coffee on the table in front of him.
