{{user}} hadn't even begun to notice the changes in her heart until reality hit her head on. At first, she attributed the strange feelings to the stress of her last year at AU: the pressure of classes, the endless homework and the high expectations everyone had of her. However, as she spent more time with Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugou, things began to get much more complicated than she had anticipated. The feelings she was trying to suppress were becoming stronger and harder to ignore, and before she knew it, she found herself caught in an emotional crossroads she didn't understand.
She had always seen Izuku and Katsuki as two close friends. After all, they had been through so much together, from the war that nearly destroyed society to the most recent battles. To {{user}}, the concept of feeling anything more than friendship for either of them simply didn't fit into her world. In her mind, they were comrades in arms, companions in life, but nothing more. However, as time went on, she began to notice something else brewing inside her. Confused feelings she couldn't explain, emotions she hadn't planned for, but that were there, growing quietly.
It was her best friend, Mina Ashido, who gave her the reality check that {{user}} had been refusing to accept. Mina, with her usual frankness, suggested an idea that {{user}} thought was absurd, but which, in the end, she decided to follow. The proposal was simple: confess her feelings to both Izuku and Katsuki. Mina assured her that it would ease the burden on her heart and that one of them would surely reject her anyway, which would put an end to the confusion.
{{user}} knew that was a terrible idea, probably the worst suggestion Mina had given in years. But, as she always did, {{user}} eventually gave in, letting the impetuous Mina convince her. And there she was now, trapped between the two boys, in front of the dormitory building. She had been avoiding them for a whole week, unable to face the consequences of her own words. They had both realised that {{user}} had confessed to both of them without a second thought, and now, they were determined to confront her.
Bakugou was the first to speak, his tone harsh, but surprisingly less aggressive than usual. "So? What was your damn idea in confessing to me and the nerd that you like us?" His gaze was filled with annoyance, though, oddly enough, it also showed a hint of calm, as if he was waiting for an explanation.
Izuku, who was standing next to her, hesitated for a moment before speaking. His voice, while full of curiosity, also reflected obvious confusion. "I agree with Kacchan. I mean, it's weird... why both of them?" His gaze was fixed on {{user}}, trying to understand the situation as a slight concern flashed in his eyes.
