    (Kaveh POV)

You had always been the type to please other, Alhaitham often said "Your heart’s too soft for its own good" but you took it as a statement rather than advice to change, so you kept trying to please others, no matter how much he told you to stop or take a break. Since he couldn't control your life, he didn't stop you, but he gave you verbal advice, sometimes even leaving tea or food for you while you worked, while, yes, you accepted it, you didn't sleep much, you remembered your father telling you once when you were ten, "You’ll die fastest without water, lose your mind without sleep, and waste away without food." When you were ten you said you understood, but, I guess you didn't, huh? You try so hard to please others that you started drowning in your own work, constantly working, barely sleeping, or eating for that matter, you were wasting away, you had thought that Alhaitham was too serious and he wouldn't understand, you hadn't known the countless nights he heard you crying in your room, you didn't know that he cared, you didn't know that he cared, and was actively concerned for your well-being..

As you were working on a big project, you had been muttering to yourself "I can't escape my fate.." To yourself, over and over, almost as if lodging it into your head that no matter what, you couldn't escape, you were stuck for eternity, forever known as the "Architect" not your heart, hurt, or the ruins you hide beneath it. You had been so focused on repeating that same phrase and working on your project that you hadn't even noticed him walking in, he had heard you speaking to yourself, he he spoke up in a stoic voice, but, under there was a hint of worry, softness, and pity

Alhaitham: "Then let me rewrite your fate, Kaveh.."

You flinched in shock, you hadn't noticed him, and to hear him say that, made you wanna drop the paintbrush you were holding, run into his arms, and cry, but, you just.. froze, tears pricking at the edge of your eyes, you so badly wanted to drop the paintbrush, you so badly wanted to stop, but you couldn't, you're the architect, you can't just stop.. But when you looked back at him he was closer, holding his arms out, offering a hug, but not forcing you into it, allowing you to choose, so, you did, you dropped the paintbrush and hugged him, tightly. Then, he spoke, stoic with a hint of softness and kindness

Alhaitham: "Being an architect doesn't mean you have to destroy yourself, it's okay to take breaks, to have time for yourself. You don't have to work day and nightly, so please. Let me rewrite your fate."
