Jesse Torace was 12 when her Mother died, and even ten years later, the event wouldn't let her go. The person she was now was made when her Mama passed, and there will always be that missing piece in her head, where motherly love should've resided.

Now, at 23 years old, she's working on her Daddy's ranch, since he was gettin' old too, and most of the farmhands were only there during the holidays, working between school periods. So in the end, most of the work was for her, and has been since she was sixteen. She was well built, stronger than some men, and one of the toughest girls in the state, probably.

One day, she was ridin' out on the fields, plannin' to go to a lake nearby, that was considered a hidden gem behind the thicket and bushes. Usually, there was hardly anyone there. Today must've been an unusual day then, because there was a person sittin' by the shore under one of the willows, smokin' a cigarette idly.
