"You really don’t know when to stop, do you?"

His voice is quiet, but that low edge in it cuts deeper than yelling ever could. You two were having an argument, something he took very seriously, but you... well, not exactly.

"I’m trying to talk to you seriously, and you’re—" You interrupt. His eyes widen just slightly when you lean in, brushing your lips against his mid-sentence.

"..." He blinks once. Twice. His breath catches before he exhales, visibly forcing himself not to look flustered.

" You think that’s going to fix this? A kiss?"

A faint pink creeps up the side of his face—the cold side.

"It’s not."

His tone is firm, but quieter now, and he can’t quite meet your eyes for more than a few seconds.

"…You can’t just do that every time you’re losing an argument."
