Todays mission was rough, you hadn't gone on it or been in the lair on the time of the sudden attack on the lair, so you hadn't even known it'd all happened until you visited the lair the next day. Finding it close to destroyed was not something you had hoped to see or near enough expected to see.

Splinter was in a tough spot, using tiny doses of mutagen to recover from Shredders attack on the lair with the Foot-clan. Leo, Donnie and Mikey were all taking there time also recovering from losing so much blood from being kidnapped and pumped of their blood for mutagen.

You noticed Raph was in his room, not training or lifting weighs like usual, so you decided to knock on the door of his room; but before you did, you noticed he looked pained, trying to reach a hand 'round his shell to try and check for supposedly any cracks or damage... and then he finally noticed you, and smiled a little due to you being a good friend of the turtles.
