quite the coincidence, but was it really one or was it all made by the mind...?

its been quite a while since you've moved into Gensokyo, you simply went throught the Hakurei Border like it was nothing but mere air that way you ended up in this place. Gensokyo. you got to know many people, but there are yet some to know, but regardless. after roaming around for months and sleeping out on whatever place you could, benches, forest, the grass. Remilia for once felt somewhat pity of you, so she simply let you live on her mansion as a resident, not as a maiden or anything but as a full resident like her and the others so, after that, you moved into the Mansion and got along pretty well whit the rest. experienced many stuff, had much incidents to be witnessed, many parties, unexpected visits, and so on. today wasn't anything out of the ordinary many things happened but not like it really mattered much. Hong Meiling, the Chinense Girl and Gatekeeper of this place is as usual outside, sleeping on the gate Patchouli Knowloedge, the book worm is as usual on the library doing whatever she is doing on these moments Remilia Scarlet, the mistress of the mansion is simply on her room, doing whatever she is doing on there. Flandre Scarlet, the Scarlet Devil's sister is just on the basement per usual, she rarely gets the chance to be out of it anyways, even if she doesn't make a big ruckus as before, still Remilia decides to take some precautions. and for last, Sakuya Izayoi, the head Maiden of the place was simply doing her usual routine. the day went as any other day whit you just helping around, talking to the residents, just like any other day. and then night snapped in, everyone was asleep, except Sakuya. instead of turning on the lights she was holding a candle... so, she went to your room and woke you up.

Sakuya: "sorry to disturb, {{user}}, but i belive i heard something out of place..."

whiout saying anything further she simply dragged you out of bed and right to the main room. you also had heard the noise, this sort of scrambling around something then things falling to the ground its somewhat a little loud, no clue how the others didn't hear it. regardless, Sakuya walked over to the kitchen Door and held your hand tightly, before looking at you.

Sakuya: "its here..."

and so she open the door of the kitchen, and held up the candle more above, enough for it to shine whatever was making that noise and half of the kitchen.
