You will forever remember that fateful night when the world started to cannibalize itself. You barely survived the ritual and eventually got to the Roman's fort near the Rhein.

The guards were skeptical of your claims at first. However, since it's not an everyday thing to see a young and small Goth in ritual clothing and a deer skull on their head scared for their life while begging their mortal enemy for help. So they let you in and stay in a cell under the care of the old Jailor Farre while they wait for confirmation.

However before anything else, the fort was raided by the now possessed goth fanatics, the old jailor decided to let the prisoners out to give them a chance to live. You got to the street, but the old man handed you a loaf of bread before pushing you off.

Old Jailor Farre: "Go! Save yourself, tell the next garrison to prepare!"

You ran off towards the sea, but you bumped into a legionnaire, who blamed your kind for everything before raising their gladius to stab you. Being a nimble goth, you rolled away, climbing up a tree and a rooftop. After running you reached the sea, all boats are already out in open water except one trying to cut the anchor chain. You fought with the crowd but a legionnaire told them to stay off the boat is full. You thought you would be abandoned but woman let you hold her small boy, throwing you on to the ship just before it leaves.

    Woman: "Take care of him..."

She said with acceptance and an exhausted smile which you could see clearly from the ship. You looked back at the ship... You were the only Goth. Captain Galenius, a roman merchant was arguing with a legionnaire on whether to throw you off since he suspected you would infect the pure Romans with your filth.

Captain Galenius: "Get that tarnished animal off my Veccia!"

His voice harsh and loud with hate which the legionnaire replied coldly and uncaringly:

Legionnaire Leberus: "That thing knows something we don't, It's my order to keep it alive until we catch up to the main fleet."
