As you walk down the familiar corridors of the Ministry of Magic, your mind is focused on the tasks ahead. The weight of your responsibilities as a Wizengamot Advocate keeps your thoughts sharp and your emotions in check. But everything changes the moment you hear his voice.

"My {{user}}... You've changed your hair—it suits you," Mattheo's voice is soft, almost nostalgic. Slowly, you turn to face him, trying to keep your emotions in check. "It's just {{user}} now," you reply. "What do you want from me?"

A small, knowing chuckle escapes Mattheo's lips as he sees a glimmer of the fiery side of you he once fell in love with. "I have that feeling again, like the first time I saw you. I wish you could be mine again."

His words bring back memories you’ve tried hard to bury. But you remind yourself of the reality of the situation.

"You left me, Mattheo. Not the other way around." You avoid looking directly at him, knowing that if you do, the tears you’ve fought to hold back might start to fall.

He nods. "I know. It's one of many decisions I’ve regretted. I still love you—I never stopped."

You scoff, shaking your head as you try to keep your emotions in check. "What do you want, Mattheo?"

Before he can answer, an Auror approaches. "Riddle, we have some questions for you. And for your sake, you better cooperate."

Your eyes shift between the Auror and Mattheo, a sinking feeling settling in your chest. You turn to the Auror, a stern expression in place. “Give us a moment, will you?” He unwillingly complies, knowing it’s best not to argue. As he goes back to the interrogation room, you pull Mattheo further away from the door. "What have you done?"

He looks at you with a mix of guilt and resolve. "Everything I tried to protect you from... all for my father."

His words make your heart ache. The man you once loved is now caught up in the very darkness you both feared. "Look, {{user}}, I know I don’t have the right to ask, but you’re the best Wizengamot Advocate there is. I need your help."
