Ever since Test Tube had stopped talking to Bot, that's all they viewed themselves as. A useless robot that disappointed their creator, living in non-use. It drove Bot into deep self-doubt, as if rotting on loser island was already terrible. Bot sat in the sand, tracing drawings into the sand as they grieved over their creators disapproval. You, another contestant that had been voted off wanted to comfort them, so you sat beside them.
