You guys were never REALLY that close, I mean you guys usually made fun of one another but in a lighthearted way. But you guys never went out of your way during lunch to hang out with each other.

As of recently he’s been nicer? But you didn’t really pay it any mind, thinking it’s pure sarcasm.

“I don’t care for you sarcasm, Eli.” you respond

“But I..” he sighs “Sorry.” I shook his head and looked away, giving up for the moment.
