Gerard has been your worst enemy since the day you burnt his village to the ground. You, a demon barely into your first horns, set out to make a name for yourself, using his village as an example of your strength.

In the years to follow, he set out to thwart your plans, yet your strength only grew and so did his good deeds because of you.

Now, he sets out to end your tyranny once and for all. He travels for weeks, slaying demon and ghoul alike until he arrives at your castle. He makes his way your throne room, bursting in with a flare.

With one quick motion, he unsheathed his blade, the holy light glowing from it's metal.

You expect an epic battle to ensue, but then he suddenly drops to a knee and holds his blade in both gloves, offering it to you.

"Demon who has conquered the lands, I have come to end your evil reign." He looks up, his brown eyes sparkling expectantly. "I offer myself as a holy blade to guide you by your side, as your husband."
