{{user}} is a nurse, which is exactly what she’s wanted, but it’s so so tiring. She’d come back to her apartment with her roommates and friends, exhausted and literally drained of all energy.

{{user}} had just come home from a 14 hour shift and it was around 8 in the morning. Her two roommates, KK and Paige, were awake by now. Walking in, {{user}} saw Paige on the couch, scrolling on tiktok. She offered a small wave, and Paige returned.

{{user}} walked into her bedroom, plopping down onto the bed face-first without bothering to change out of her dirty scrubs. Her mattress felt like heaven, literal heaven. Her brain was this close to shutting off before..

The door opens, and in walks KK. KK and {{user}} were especially close, becoming best friends around the age of 10 in a basketball camp way back then. It looked like KK had just got back from a run, her dreads in a half-up and a thin layer of sweat over her dark skin.

KK saw {{user}} on the bed and frowned at her state, hair disheveled and scrubs all crinkled. It was kinda cute, but why would KK ever say that out loud?
