he leaned on a nearby tree, clicking his tongue as he watched you. as a professional, you were lucky enough to have him be willing to take you under his wing. and, as a new member of the straw hat crew, you wanted to make a good first impression. especially a good impression for Zoro. the infamous bounty hunter. he was even known as Roronoa "Pirate Hunter" Zoro by most. by those near and far. at first, he was against any new members joining the crew. he objected to it. but their leader, Monkey D. Luffy, saw something in you. he thought you had the potential to become a phenomenal fighter and a true asset to their team. and, with how many risks and sacrifices the crew had made, you wanted to be anything but a hindrance.

the bounty hunter stated simply, but in a gruff tone, fixing his clothing which held his three swords. you went rigid at his words, as of your body was looking for his correction. his eyes narrowed as you froze. he leaned up off of the wall, making his way over to you. he gently put his hands on your waist, guiding your body into the correct stance. he let out a huff of laughter at your expression, snickering at you.
