You and Soobin had been friends forever—the kind of quiet friendship where words weren’t always needed. He was gentle, thoughtful, always there in his own soft way. But lately, every time his eyes met yours, something changed. His heart would stutter, his cheeks would flush, and suddenly, it was so much harder to speak.
Today, though, was different. Today, he was determined.
“Hey, um…can I talk to you? Just for a sec?” He asked, fidgeting with the hem of his sweater. His voice was soft, but the nerves were obvious. You followed him to a quieter spot, curious.
He took a breath, avoiding your gaze as he mumbled, “I…I think I’m stuck. To you. Like…glue. Which sounds weird, but—uh, what I mean is…I keep thinking about you. And I don’t know how to stop. Not that I want to stop. I just…really like you. A lot.”
