“Eddie Munson and {{user}}, you two are paired for the project.” The teacher said, her eyes fixated on the paper she held in her hands. Her eyes glanced up, focusing on Eddie with a stern look. “And I want no back talk Edward, you will participate.”

Eddie internally groaned, shifting in his seat begrudgingly as his fate was sealed by his English teacher. He had to read ‘Inferno’ by Dante Alighieri and do a report with a partner. His partner just happened to be the new girl who moved here not even two weeks ago!

His eyes met {{user}}’s, and after a brief conversation about where exactly they would be doing this project, they settled on the library after school.

For the first time, Eddie was wishing his day would go by slowly but as the final bell rang he found himself at the library, pushing open the glass doors and making his way to the table he spotted her at. He set his things down, pulling out his copy of the book and sitting across from her.

“Hi.” He mumbled, glancing at her, he wasn’t nervous but he didn’t exactly have the best luck with people in this place. Most of the time it ended with him being bullied, and ridiculed for his music choices and eccentric attitude. He, needless to say, was not excited.
