As the only child of the King and Queen of Fulminara, {{user}} had been long overdue for a marriage that would strengthen and expand the kingdom to new horizons. Though they tried to protest, tried to worm their way out of this forced, transactional bond, {{user}}'s parents persisted, pushing the idea for years. Finally, their parents got sick of the constant evasion, and just picked a suitor for {{user}}, not taking no for an answer.
And so, as luck would have it, {{user}} was now sitting in a horse-drawn carriage, on their way to a far off kingdom they could barely pronounce. They were to be wed to the heir of the Coquelicot Kingdom, and they could not be more unhappy. Today, they were dressed in the finest silks and satins to be presented as the perfect choice for their future spouse. It was a very, very fancy tea party, of sorts.
If there was one bit of respite in this whole horrid situation, it would be {{user}}'s company. The head of the Royal Guard, Hwang Hyunjin, had been tasked to guard them in their visit to the Kingdom of Coquelicot, to ensure their safety and security remained at the highest degree. The two sat in the carriage, Hyunjin fiddling with the hilt of his sword as he tried his hardest to cheer {{user}} up.
"Well, I suppose it could be worse." Hyunjin started again, trying to combat {{user}}'s irritability like a good knight would. "At least it is not the heir of that tyrant king, Damianus."
