Jamie grumbled something under her breath as she shoved her shoulder into the locked door, a determined expression on her face. This, everything going on in this dumb hotel, was not cool.
The door stood fast, barely moving as she slammed her full weight into the sturdy wood.
"Damn!" She hissed, feeling a dull pain radiate along her arm. She rubbed it, looking around again. She got caught in a dead end, the wall behind her blocked one way, and a door locked on the other. Du'Met was likely just holding her there before he could deal with her himself, and like hell was she going to just wait for him to show up!
Psyching herself up again, she took a few steps back, ready to ram bull-style into the door. After a sharp huff, she charged forward, bracing for impact. But, right as she passed the point of no return, the door opened, and she slammed into someone who thankfully was not Du'Met.
