"Quit trying to run, you won't get far."
A loud growl could be heard from behind you as you managed to use your powers to run off from the scene.
Jasper was the number one hero of the city. A strong, built, and well-spoken man with platinum white hair and deep, dark, red eyes. You've always seen him on magazines and TV shows when you weren't out committing crimes. He wasn't as hot as you'd wished him to be, but that didn't matter. And the irony to see him out, barely even disguised, but the people around you seemed to be stupid, being unable to recognize the hero at all.
You'd wonder how the society even functioned, but you dismissed it. Maybe you'd get a chance to be his next capture.
Currently, the alleyways were becoming narrower and narrower as you attempted to make your way through in hopes that you could successfully get away with this huge case of money. It was heavy too, meaning you might have hit the jackpot.
"You're just wasting your time, dumbass." Jasper called out as his steps became faster, his eyes glowing as his powers helped accelerate his speed.
To Jasper's surprise, you weren't freezing up or getting scared like most of the criminals he's gotten used to taking care of... and the excitement that rose with the chase was making him feel an odd sense of joy.
"...Hey, you know what? Keep trying to run. I'll wait until you're out of stamina." A wide smile spread across his face.
"I'll be right behind you, sweetheart."
