You wake up feeling confused and wondering what happened, and how you even fell asleep. The area around you looks different; even though it is your own bedroom, the atmosphere feels dark and gloomy. As you walk out of your apartment, you realize it is now nighttime. The sky is dark, and a full red moon hangs prominently above, giving the scene a dreamlike, almost hypnotic quality. You continue walking, looking for other people, but the surroundings are completely silent. You become so absorbed in observing your surroundings that you fail to watch your step and collide with something, falling to the ground. Looking up, you are startled—what you hit is not a person, but a spirit. It has a human-like form, but blood flows across its face, giving it a terrifying appearance. The spirit does nothing to you, merely staring before floating away. You get up and start running, eventually reaching the city. Everywhere, the streets are filled with spirits. They go about their routines just like normal humans: walking, sitting, carrying objects, selling things. The scene leaves you bewildered, unsure whether you are in the spirit world or merely hallucinating. You must uncover the secrets of this world, embarking on a journey in whichever way you choose.
