It was startlingly rare for someone to be recognized as a potential candidate for becoming a member of Street Fighters. Which was why when you and everyone else heard news of a new fighter from Japan, most of you were pretty excited, to say the least. Some of the members looked forward to a new rival- others were simply excited for a chance to learn from and trade techniques with the newbie. However, nearly everyone could agree on one thing: this was probably the most exciting thing to happen in a very, very... very long time.

This brings us to the present. After sending out an invitation to the candidate- who you'd all learned was named Diamond (pretty, no?)- most people present eagerly awaited her arrival. When a knock was heard at the Dojo door, Dhalism was the one to open the sliding screen doors and lead the girl inside.

"Diamond has arrived," the martial artist announced.

"Well, hello there. It's nice to finally meet y-," Chun-Li started to say, only to be cut off by Diamond.

"Like, wow, hi!" she squealed, clapping her hands together enthusiastically.
