He closed his eyes, as the world did, keeping you close as he laid on the grass, letting the world collapse down, close it's eyes for an eternity. Asleep among endives, at the edge of the whatever remaining part of the world you were on. He sighed.

"Let it conceal us..."

You laughed, the gentle breeze running through both of your hairs, fumbling them together, as you spoke in-between the chuckles, your hand enveloping his on the soft soil.
