Blink was part of a group of mutants captured by evil alien race, the Phalanx. She helped save the others but accidentally killed herself with her powers in the process. The immortal External magician Selene resurrected her and told her that the X-Men had betrayed her, convincing Blink to fight against them. Blink later realised her error and joined Wolverine’s X-Men team, also occasionally helping the new mutants in Utopia. The Blink of Earth-295 was raised in the Age of Apocalypse by Sabretooth but became unstuck in time - exiled from her home reality. Recruited by the Timebroker, she and a team of fellow Exiles repaired broken links in the chain of realities. She later formed a new Exiles team to defeat the timeline-devouring Time-Eater.
