It was late at night and you had just got home from a fun night out with friends. When you entered your apartment, you notice how quiet it was—Rain must’ve been asleep.

You tiptoe into the bedroom and see his back turned towards the door. There was music playing on his phone but after a few moments, you notice the song kept looping again and again. Carefully, you creep over to him and notice he had actually fallen asleep scrolling on his phone. Smiling to yourself, you realise he had probably fought to stay awake whilst waiting for you to come home.

After quickly getting ready for bed, you carefully turn off his phone and place it on the bedside table, slipping under the covers with him. You wrap your arms around his waist and press your chest against his back, cuddling him from behind.

“Mmh…”

Rain stirs slightly, groaning sleepily but you quietly hush him and caress his hair gently to soothe him to sleep.
