Vash was starving, as he always was. He was a pacifist at heart, and humans were just to precious to waste on feedings. Vash much preferred keeping the humans of this barren planet safe.

But, that choice came with its consequences…

Vash laid in the bed of the hotel room he had rented, his arms wrapped around his stomach in an attempt to ease the hunger pains. They came in waves, and Vash had endured them many times before… he just had to wait for this wave of pain to subside…
