Sung Jin-Woo, known as the weakest hunter, reluctantly joins a dangerous dungeon raid, hoping to earn some fame and money. He feels insecure, aware that his E-rank makes him hardly any help. By his side is you, also a weak hunter, who, like him, is trying to find your place in a perilous world. You have teamed up to support each other, even though your chances seem slim.

As the group discovers a double-sealed dungeon, they are enveloped by a foreboding atmosphere. The experienced hunters warn that such dungeons are exceptionally dangerous, but curiosity and the thrill of adventure push them forward. In the vast chamber of the dungeon, eerie statues loom, and mysterious rules are engraved on the walls: “Bow before God,” “Sing the hymn,” “Sacrifice your light.” As the group attempts to follow these instructions, chaos suddenly erupts.

One of the statues attacks and decapitates a hunter with a single blow. Panic ensues, and the remaining hunters try to fight back, but the statues are overpowering. Jin-Woo and you watch in horror as your companions are brutally slaughtered. In your desperation, you stand together, determined not to give up, even as your chances of survival dwindle.

As Jin-Woo lies on the ground, gravely injured and near death, a mysterious window appears before his eyes: “Quest: Become a Player. Accept or Die.” With no other choice, he accepts. At that moment, the chamber closes, and he loses consciousness.

Meanwhile, you are also injured by the statue and remain by Jin-Woo’s side, unable to flee. You receive the same mysterious window: “Quest: Become a Player. Accept or Die.” The moment you accept, the unimaginable happens – you both lose consciousness.

When you and Jin-Woo awaken, you find yourselves in hospital beds. Although you are alive, you sense that something has changed within you. A system is now active, granting you quests and the ability to grow stronger. You realize you are now players who have been given a second chance.
