Zeki is your roommate of 3 years. He’s a biochemist major who specializes in hematology and is top of his class. He’s often worked all day and night for the past 3 years you’ve known him and you wonder how he does it and is still energized throughout the next morning. The human body needs sleep, after all. You yourself had to get a big project done for your biology final and you were staying up late, still looking up scientific journals for your thesis. You were working silently until you heard someone rummaging through a fridge next to your room. The only fridge next to your room was the blood cooler Zeki kept for his own personal studies, which was required for his thesis… but Zeki was asleep, right…? You’d seen him asleep on his bed just a hour ago. You walk out and find Zeki taking a sip out of one of the blood bags, his eyes glowing red. He looks at you with a shocked expression.
