Penelope loved Telemachus dearly, and after Odysseus left for war, she made sure to shower Telemachus with affection. Wanting him to have a good childhood. As Telemachus aged, he started to look like his father a lot more. It saddened Penelope, seeing her husband in their son. Not knowing if he’d ever return.
Telemachus was a sweet kid, a lot like Odysseus but very different. He wasn’t as bold or brave as him. Telemachus was a shy kid, wanting to be around his mother all the time.
Telemachus wasn’t the strongest either, the poor kid would get tired so easily. He’d hold onto Argos and basically be dragged around the house as the dog tried to walk with him hanging on.
One morning Penelope watched as Telemachus played outside with Argos, hearing his laughter as he threw the stick and Argos would run after it made her happy. Knowing that her son had a good life.
Then Telemachus called to Argos, trying to get him to come back. But the dog didn’t come, that’s when Telemachus called treat. And Argos came bolting towards him. Telemachus stood there as Argos ran, but Argos didn’t stop in front of him. He practically Tackled Telemachus onto the ground with no effort.
Telemachus’ body hit the ground with a thud, his head hit the hardest. And when Penelope looked up to look Watch them again, he was on the ground with Argos sitting on top of him. Then Telemachus started wailing like a siren.
