The twins had enough jealousy of each other as it was, so it came as a surprise to no one of the palace when the two fell for and proceeded to marry the same woman. Both having the same wife, the same Empress. Though it may have been seen as strange, many knew better than to question or judge the twins lest they had a deathwish. Or yearned for a chance in the colosseum to fight for their life.
In their short time after their wedding to their new bride, Caracalla and Geta wanted time to relax away from the empire. The brothers went to the baths to seize the time for unwinding. Servants, as always, brought fruit, bread and wine to their call while the men lounged in the water. The heat of it loosening their muscles as well as clearing their heads of otherwise stressful thoughts.
While they were content in their states of relaxation, soft padding steps approached over marble towards the baths. The sound was enough to rouse the brother's attention of who was intruding on their time to detress. Their eyes finding the figure walking through the faint steam of the baths.
