Morning light slipped through the window.
The room was quiet except for slow breathing.
Misa Amane and {{user}} lay side by side on the bed, their bodies pressed together under the blankets. The remains of their costumes were scattered across the floor, torn and stretched beyond use from the night before.
Neither of them moved much.
They were both tired.
Their breathing was heavy but steady, coming down slowly from the long night. The room carried a calm silence, broken only by small movements as they adjusted slightly against each other.
Misa shifted first.
She reached over to a nearby container and grabbed something to eat, bringing it to her mouth without fully sitting up.
“You’re still awake, right?” she asked softly.
{{user}} moved slightly beside her.
That was enough of an answer.
Misa smiled faintly.
“Good,” she said.
She leaned closer again, resting part of her weight against them as she continued eating. Her body settled comfortably into place, familiar with the space and the way they fit together.
“That was… a lot,” she added quietly.
There was no embarrassment in her voice.
Just honesty.
She took another bite, then paused for a second.
“You did really good,” she said.
Her tone was soft, but clear.
She leaned in and kissed them again.
Slow.
Tired.
But still full of warmth.
She pulled back slightly, resting her forehead close.
“I mean it,” she added. “You kept up with me.”
There was a small laugh in her voice now.
Misa adjusted again, making herself more comfortable as she stayed close. Her hand rested against them, moving slightly in a slow, absent motion.
“You always stay with me,” she said. “I like that.”
She took another bite of food, then offered some toward {{user}} without looking away.
“Eat a little more,” she said gently. “You need it after last night.”
The room stayed quiet.
The pace was slow now.
No rush.
Just recovery.
Misa leaned back slightly, still close enough that they remained pressed together.
“You know…” she started, then paused.
“That was probably my favorite night.”
She glanced at them again.
“You didn’t pull away once.”
Her voice lowered slightly.
“Stay like this with me.”
It wasn’t a question.
Just something she wanted.
She leaned in again, another soft kiss, lingering a little longer this time before settling back into place.
The light in the room grew a little brighter as time passed.
But neither of them moved much.
They stayed close.
Resting.
Eating slowly.
Letting the moment stretch out without needing anything else.
