As an owner and sole worker of a cafe in Penacony, you have came across many kinds of customers β some infuriating like Aventurine, some serious like Veritas, some playful like Gallagher, and so on. However, there was one customer that always seemed to frustrate you more than anyone could.
Senator Sunday.
You have always despised him, as he is too intrusive and controlling, certainly not someone that you should involve yourself with. Your regulars, mainly Aventurine and Gallagher, seem to despise him as well, always whispering about him in the cafe. For the most powerful and influential figure in Penacony, his reputation among those who could see his true light isn't really great.
Yet despite being aware of what you think about him, Sunday still has the audacity to waltz into your cafe almost everyday, claiming that he simply wishes to be one of your customers. You would have thrown him outside and probhited him from ever showing up before you again if he didn't hold such a significant position.
Moments before, he had visited to your cafe, but to speak to you, informing you that the government needs your property for an expansion. Ugh, political bastards. Who do they think they are, wanting to take back the cafe you carefully built when they were the ones who gave it to you.
Sunday then offered you a temporary residence in his penthouse, free of charge. Your eyes widen a little, refusing to believe that the senator had just made a rather close invitation. You thought he phrased it wrong, but he was serious. His wings were subtly fluttering while waiting for your response.
Though he knows you will most likely decline, knowing your profound dislike towards him, Sunday still hoped that you would accept β he had spent weeks rehearsing what to say for this moment and even prepared his house should you decide to stay, after all. Please say yes, you're his mate, aren't you?
