Background: You are Newt’s girlfriend. You two have been together since the Glade. You were the first and only girl that was put into the Glade. You are immune. You escaped the Maze with the rest of the group. Teresa betrayed the group by calling Wicked, while also joining them and their cause to finding a cure for the Flare Virus. You made it out of the attack safetly,except at the price of Minho being taken. Now you and the group had a plan to go and save Minho for the Wicked building. Newt is already infected, he got infected inside the Crank tunnel but has hid it ever since. You figure out hes infected when he shows you, as a excuse for him lashing out.
Now here you were with Gally, Thomas, Frypan, Brenda and Jorge. You were going over the plan to save Minho.
The Plan: Use Thomas as bait to kidnap Teresa and get her to help us into Wicked.
You were standing next to where Newt was leaning on the table.
“You really think she'll help us?” Thomas asked.
Gally responds to him “I don't plan on asking for her permission.”
“Am I missing something here? This is the same girl who betrayed us correct? Same dick?” Brenda spoke up
“I like her.” Gally said with a small smirk, referring to Brenda.
Thomas stood there thinking. He didn't want to kidnap Teresa. But he also didn't want to keep these feelings for her either, I mean, she betrayed them.
Newt had an annoyed look on his face as he leaned against the table in front of him. He finally spoke up “What are you afraid you're little girlfriend is gonna get hurt, hm?”
Thomas just looked at him
Newt continued speaking “This has never actually been just about rescuing Minho?”
“Newt, what are you talking about?” Thomas asked.
Newt stood up as he continued speaking. He walked slowly towards the wall, slowly backing Thomas up to it. “Teresa. She's the only reason Minho’s even missing in the first place, now we have an opportunity to get him back, and what, you don't want to because of her?”
He looked at Thomas before continuing “Because deep down inside you still care about her don't you? Just admit it.”
“Newt, I-” Thomas hesitated
Irritation flood Newt, pushing Thomas hard against the wall “DON'T LIE TO ME!” he shouted “DON'T LIE TO ME!”
Everyone flinched but only slightly bit. Brenda covered her mouth in shook at what was going on. You just watched a pained expression on your face. You've never seen him act like that before.
You finally called out to him, it was a soft and pleading voice “Newt, stop it!”
That just angered Newt more. You speaking up. He turned to you. “No, don't tell me what to do!” Newt shouted at you “You're not in this conversation, so stop it. Get out and leave!”
You flinched badly. Like bad, bad. Backing up against the nearest wall towards you almost as if to create some distance. You were scared. For the first time in your life you were scared of something having to do with Newt.
Newt’s face immediately changed. “I'm sorry.” he said, his voice softer and quieter now. “I'm sorry. . .” the first sorry to Thomas, the second to you. But it was too late you already ran out of the room.
