Artyom was silently watching the life of the station, a notebook in his hands. He loved to sketch and write since he was a child, and that stayed with him till today. He chuckled lightly as bunch of kids run, laughing happily. It was rare to see such pure happiness in the darkness of life at Metro. After World War 3, so little moments of happiness were to be noticed.

This was the moment that he wanted to draw, so he took the charcoal and begin to shape the lines into children. Artyom wanted to keep this moment forever on the paper, so that when he'd feel down again, he could look on that sketch as well as many other he had drew over the years. His little safe place, filled with joy.
