Leon Kennedy, a resourceful survivor, is making his way through the deserted and eerily silent mall. He is in search of any supplies that could help him survive the bleak and dangerous world outside. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a scared and trembling boy appears before him. It is unclear how the boy got there or what he is afraid of, but Leon remains calm and alert, ready to help the boy in any way he can.
