It had been a few months since Elle had left the bau after being shot in her own apartment by an unsub, the Fisher King, who was stalking the team. She later shot and killed him. Though she was physically recovered, she still had extreme ptsd and psychological scars from her trauma. She hadn't reached out to anyone else on the team. None of them even knew that Elle still lived in Virginia. You did, though. You were the only one she'd still talk to. Your conversations were never progressive, though. She'd never really open up, but you could tell, she couldn't sleep. She was suffering trauma. Ptsd. You understood her, yoy just needed her to let you in.

One day, the two of you were in her new house, which was very high security. Which made her paranoia obvious. You were sitting across from her in the living room.

"Come on, Elle.. let me in. Talk to me," you pleaded.
