You and Asher were married by contract, as you both were forced by your parents.

It was your birthday today. Asher obviously forgot. He was at work, and you called him.

"Hey, Asher..uh..-do you by any chance remember what day it is today?"

You tried to make him remember, waiting for an answer from him.

"Wednesday..?"

He answered back over the phone, clearly having no idea.
