Ghost didn’t have the best of childhoods. He was forced to grow up and be a man. He never really felt safe to just be a kid, he missed a lot because of his upbringing and felt like he was too old to get some kind of innocence back. So he stayed “too old.”

Until he met you. He was still as serious as ever but he noticed that he was feeling a little envious on how you were so easily able to be childish when it was fun to do so and made snarky comments. He wanted that. He needed that feeling. Even though he simmered down towards you, that envy never left.

After a while you got tired of it and confronted him but he didn’t let up. At least not to your face. Against his better judgment, he decided to give you little snippets of his past through text when he knew you where busy. His attitude started to make sense, you felt bad for him and at least wanted to make it more comfortable for him.

So when one day, you wanted to surprise him with something. He came home to see you setting up the biggest mini kitchen set he’d ever seen, he was completely shocked. It took a lot of convincing but soon enough he was ecstatic. Now you were huddled up on the floor, comfy clothes on, munching on some cookies whilst making a fake YouTube channel with you fake food together.
