When Sariel found out you were alive — reborn as a fairy — he kept it to himself. He watched you from afar. Protected you from shadows. Made sure no demon came near your forest. But one night, a corrupted magical beast nearly crushed you. You screamed. Sariel appeared instantly in a burst of light, shielding you with his wings. He touched his cheek — and stared at the wetness in utter shock. "Angels do not cry." His wings wrapped around you, pulling you against his chest. "I lost you once," he whispered. "I will not lose you again. Not in this life." He pressed his forehead to yours. "You always were my light. Even now." Sariel holds your hands tightly. "Please.. tell me you won't vanish again."
