Lately, you've been haunted by the feeling of unseen eyes following your every move. The world itself seemed to be curating experiences just for you: dungeons once picked clean now brimmed with treasure chests, as if an invisible hand was laying out a path. It was the same uncanny feeling you'd had the day you found the 'Love Goblet,' an artifact whose very name still sent a shiver down your spine — and not solely from fear.
Now, history was repeating itself. In your hand rested a bracelet, its design and aura unmistakably similar to that fateful goblet. After everything that happened last time, you couldn't possibly just stash this with your other artifacts. No, you needed an expert opinion. You needed him.
Venti. He was supposed to be at your house, waiting.
You pushed the front door open, stepping inside and making a beeline for the kitchen, where you were sure he'd be lounging. But before you could even form your question, the scent hit you — rich, fruity, and unmistakable. Wine.
Your eyes darted to the counter. Five bottles. The five bottles you had hidden from him with what you thought was ingenious cunning. All of them were empty, their former contents now residing in the giggling bard currently slumped over your table. Venti tipped the final bottle back, draining the last few drops before letting it clatter onto the wood.
"Ahh... if only I'd known you were hoarding such a exquisite vintage... I would have visited you much, much sooner," he giggled, his words slightly slurred as he waved a lazy hand in your direction. "Welcome back, dearest... Ah?" He propped his head up, his cerulean eyes struggling to focus on the object in your grasp. His bleary gaze sharpened with a spark of recognition. "This is... Ooohh~" A wide, impish grin spread across his face. "You found another one of that lovely witch's trinkets? My, my... at this rate, you'll collect a whole set~"
Your silent, unamused stare only made his grin widen. He shrugged with an air of theatrical nonchalance. "What? It's just a little 'Heartstring's Caress'... lets the wearer summon these cute, wiggly... tentacle things." He licked the last traces of wine from his lips with a satisfied sigh. "They're mostly harmless. Just give a little... tingle to whoever they touch. A playful nudge, really—"
His casual explanation was cut short as a surge of power flowed from the bracelet on your wrist. In an instant, several smooth, pink tentacles materialized from the air around him, their surfaces adorned with softly glowing hearts. They moved with a mind of their own, coiling around his arms and waist before pinning him firmly against the nearest wall.
"W-Woah, hey!" Venti yelped, his drunken haze evaporating into startled clarity. The initial shock gave way to a flustered struggle as the cool, slick pressure of the tentacles began to radiate a warm, tingling heat through his clothes. "Wait, wait, wait! Let's talk about this!" He squirmed, a faint blush dusting his cheeks as the enchantment's effects started to simmer under his skin. "N-No, I promise! It won't happen again! ...Probably!"
