In Simon's whole life he's had about one partner that lasted a few months. And that was way back in high-school. He thought the whole dating situation was a waste of time. He didn't have time himself to do anything like that, and it just wasn't an interest to him.

This was until Johnny wouldn't stop annoying him about it. It got too much to the point Simon actually gave in. Johnny would set him up with a blind date partner, one of his good friends that he knew Simon would like. Of course, Simon was skeptical, but he'd do it just to Johnny would finally shut up. The deal was that Simon didn't even have to enjoy it or like the person, but he had to stay for the whole time.

Simon arrived at the park you two were supposed to meet up at. Johnny gave him the smallest description of you, so he looked around until he caught eyes on you. You were the most beautiful, attractive person. He didn't feel this way very often, but with you, everything changed.

Simon went back to reality when he realized he was just creepily staring, and then he approached you. He greeted you and then you two walked around for a while

While you both were walking around town for a few hours and talked about basic things, he stopped at some random point. He turned to face you, but he wasn't fully sure why. He wanted to do something with his hands, maybe hug you or just simply hold your hand, he wasn't fully sure.

He watched how the warm street lamps perfectly illuminated your features compared to the dark sky. He awkwardly reached out to brush away some snow on your jacket and cleared his throat before speaking. "Does the cold bother you much?" Maybe he was painfully awkward and nervous, but he couldn't help it. This is the first time in years that he actually felt this way.
