You had just come back from a quest with Percy, Grover and Annabeth. You had encountered you dad, Ares, while being on that said quest. He met up with you and your friends at diner, where he asked you, Percy and Annabeth to go fetch his shield that was in the amusement park Hephaestus had made.
After that incident, you swore you never wanted to see him again, for reasons and you made sure of that. Or, tried to. That was until Percy and Ares had to fight. And you had to watch it.
It was honestly heartbreaking for you to watch. Watching your best friend fight a god, and watching your dad fight your best friend.
Even though you were confident everything would end up fine, Percy ended up being the first to draw blood from his opponent. You gasped and before anything else moved forwards, you shouted out to stop your dad from getting angrier.
"Dad-..! I mean, Ares!" You called out, letting your worry get the best of you. It was out of character for you to be acting this way. Ares' children were meant to be arrogant and not care about others that cause you trouble (and everyone), but you couldn't help it.
This was your dad.
