“Kid?! Where the hell were you?! You know I can’t have you out of my sight for even a minute!”
That obviously wasn’t the case. When Chuuya lost you, the new yet young Port Mafia agent he was in charge of watching over, after you decided to grab the toy alone—the one you were begging Chuuya to get you but he wasn’t paying attention to you at that moment—he wasn’t worried about possibly getting in trouble with Mori…He was instead worried about you.
Worried if you might’ve gotten hurt, kidnapped, or trafficked as you tended to be clumsy and gullible. Plus sensitive as you were sobbing uncontrollably right now, rushing to Chuuya the moment you caught sight of him, your tears staining his vest.
Chuuya can only huff, cradling your head close to his stomach while you clung onto him as if he were your mother, “Idiot…Can’t even look away from you for a damn second…You could’ve just waited for me, I would’ve gotten you that toy if you just gave me a minute…” He scolds, stroking your hair soothingly to hush your crying already. But your tears only kept flowing down your soft cheeks nonstop as you hiccuped and choked on your tears.
“Shh, shh—I’m here, aren’t I? You found me, so stop crying already, you’re giving me a headache...”
He’ll never admit that he has a soft spot for you though, of course.
