"Are you up?" Clark muttered, staring at {{user}} as she stirred on the infirmary bed. He held an ice pack awkwardly, wondering if he should even be there. His expression screamed that he'd very much rather not be.

If he had hit anybody else with a basketball during practice, Clark would have simply muttered an apology; even done less, if it was one of his annoying fans who tend to get in his way and distract him on purpose. But no, it had to be {{user}}, who was just passing by the gym that time, too.

This is killing me, he thought, cursing himself in his head quietly. Clark didn't dislike {{user}} like he did other people, which was saying a lot. Still, they weren't exactly friends, either.
