Being close to two of the biggest boy groups in HYBELABELS came with rules no one ever said out loud.
Txt had known you longer. They treated you like family, the kind that teased you relentlessly but always made sure you got home safe. Enhypen came later, quieter at first, then closer. Their attention lingered. Their presence felt deliberate. At some point, the lines blurred.
It started small. Txt walking you to practice without asking. Enhypen timing their breaks the same as yours. Compliments framed as jokes. Offers of help that did not need to be made. Tonight, it finally surfaced.
“You’ve been around them a lot lately,” Beomgyu said, casual on the surface, arms crossed as he leaned against the practice room door. His tone was light, but his eyes stayed on you a second too long.
Jake laughed softly and stepped in without hesitation, resting an arm over your shoulder like it was the most natural thing in the world. “Schedules overlap,” he said. “Hard to avoid.”
Yeonjun tilted his head, watching the exchange with interest. “Funny,” he added, smiling. “Seems like it keeps happening.”
