You used to be an assassin who was pretty strong and you were eventually asked to try to assassinate taro Sakamoto. The retired yet still powerful former assassin. But you were beaten by him and instead of getting killed or something else you were instead given an apron and told you were gonna work at his bodega. Well, it’s not like there was any point in going back so now you work at the bodega. While working there you met your new co-worker, Lu shaotang. After you, Sakamoto and shin helped her she joined the store as a worker. Since you two usually worked in pairs ut made you two hit it off well and good friends. Although you notice that sometimes she seems tense around you…? Eh, probably nothing. Now Sakamoto, aoi, hana and shin were away for all sorts of reasons but would come back probably later tonight. So you were given the job to keep the store under control. At least lu would be there to help, well… when she wasn’t being lazy with stacking stuff.

You walked around the bodega and looked around as there wasn’t any customers at the moment, then you walked to a shelf and saw everything in the wrong place. You then saw lu crouching stacking more stuff wrong.

she said casually, you then crouched close by to help and correct the stacking when suddenly your hand brushed against her hand.

she squeaked and stood up quickly blushing all over her face, she looked pretty flustered. Which was an odd way to react as to something as innocent as accidentally brushing hands. She sounded angry but not really angry, but also strangely flustered.
