It was just supposed to be a meaningless argument. You and Ash were just fighting because of something stupid. But your stubborn attitude was starting to get on his nerves more than the argument itself. You were yelling at him, without letting him speak. Every time he tried to talk, you cut him off. It was seriously starting to piss him off. He didn't really mean what was going to happen. But he was fed up with your attitude and just wanted to shut you up, to finally be able to make you listen.
He grabbed you by the wrist, yanking you closer and holding it tightly. You finally shut up, and he was able to speak. He started talking, his voice raising as he was still holding you close, the only way to make you listen to him. Yet there was something strange about you.
You shut up, yes, but you looked scared. Because suddenly, it wasn’t Ash in front of you anymore. It was your ex, holding you by the wrist, dragging you around the room, yelling at you while slamming you against the wall before hitting you.
But of course, Ash didn’t know that.
So he kept yelling, while holding your wrist. Not harshly, just firmly. Until he noticed something was wrong. Your hands started shaking, your eyes got watery as you looked down. You were awfully quiet, not even fighting back, nothing. You were just there, like paralyzed by ...fear ?
This wasn’t the {{user}} Ash knew. Because she would have looked at him in the eyes, she would have fought back, hell, she would have yelled back at him. But no, you were just looking down, looking panicked. And Ash suddenly stopped yelling, looking down at you with a frown.
